Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SweepDroid ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

SweepDroid is developed and distributed by Nectar Mobile Development ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms govern your use of the App.

License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SweepDroid on your Android device for its intended purpose: helping you understand and free up storage space on your device.

Intended Purpose

SweepDroid is designed to scan your device, explain in plain language what is using your storage, and help you free up space by reviewing and removing photos, videos, and apps that you choose. The App is a tool to assist you; you remain in control of every action it takes.

Deletion of Files and Apps — Please Read Carefully

SweepDroid never deletes anything on its own. Every deletion of a photo or video, and every app uninstall, is carried out through Android's own built-in confirmation screens, which you must approve.

Deletions are permanent. When you confirm the removal of photos, videos, or other files, they may be permanently deleted from your device and may not be recoverable. When you uninstall an app, that app and its data are removed from your device.

You are responsible for deciding what to delete. We strongly recommend backing up any photos, videos, or files you wish to keep—for example to a cloud service or computer—before removing them from your device. Nectar Mobile Development is not responsible for any loss of photos, videos, files, apps, app data, or other content resulting from deletions you confirm.

Suggestions Are Guidance, Not Advice

SweepDroid may flag certain apps as "junk," "pre-installed," "not from the Play Store," or otherwise unneeded, and may suggest items to remove. These suggestions are generated automatically using on-device heuristics and a public, community-maintained list of commonly-unwanted apps. They are provided for your convenience and information only.

Suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate, and an app being flagged does not mean it is harmful, nor does the absence of a flag mean an app is safe. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to remove any app or file. Some apps are important to your device's operation; the App attempts to protect core and pre-installed apps, but you should not remove anything you do not recognize or understand.

SWEEPDROID IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NECTAR MOBILE DEVELOPMENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

No Online Services

SweepDroid does not include any online accounts, cloud storage, or servers operated by us that hold your data. The App's only network use is to download a public list of commonly-unwanted apps to help flag junk; no personal data is sent. We are not responsible for the availability or content of that third-party public list.

Updates and Modifications

We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. Updates may be provided through the Google Play Store. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Your license to use the App terminates automatically if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

Intellectual Property

SweepDroid and all related trademarks, logos, and branding are the property of Nectar Mobile Development. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except for the limited license to use the App as described above.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nectar Mobile Development operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nectar Mobile Development regarding the use of SweepDroid.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and post the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
